What is Hubs?

Continu Hubs lets a parent organization, like a holding company or franchisor, run a network of full Continu instances, one for each of its sub-companies. Every sub-company gets a complete Continu platform with full autonomy: its own admins, learners, content, branding, integrations, and reporting, with Continu AI built in to create content, surface insights, and automate repetitive work. The parent hub sits above all of them with oversight and management rights. It sets standards, shares content to any instance, sees activity across the whole network, and can step into any sub-company directly, while each one runs itself.

Built for any parent and sub-company structure

If more than one group in your organization runs learning its own way, Hubs connects them. A few of the shapes it fits:

Holding companies

One parent company, many operating companies, each with its own teams, systems, and training obligations.

Franchise networks

A franchisor and hundreds or thousands of franchisees who all need to train to a shared standard.

Divisions and regions

Business units or country entities that run their own L&D, on their own systems, against their own compliance requirements.

Companies you acquire

An acquisition that arrives with its own platform, its own admins, and its own way of working.

Why Hubs

Every team on its own platform. Nothing connecting them.

Today
Illustration showing scattered, disconnected teams each running their own separate learning platform.

Paying for the same thing more than once

A separate LMS, contract, security review, and renewal for every team

Another vendor to manage with every platform you add

The same onboarding course built from scratch, team by team

Status updates chased across every L&D team you have

With Hubs
Continu Hubs connects every team's full instance to one parent hub.

One network. One contract. Built once.

One contract, one renewal, one security review, one vendor relationship

One implementation. New sub-companies join the network, not a procurement cycle

Author once, share it to every instance that needs it

One screen showing activity across the whole network

"Our previous LMS was just binary: did a user do the training or not. No messages or reminders, and forget about automated workflows.
Continu delivers a whole new experience."

For your teams

Nobody gets a downgraded version

Consolidating learning usually means the teams underneath get handed a portal with fewer permissions and someone else's content library. That is why they push back on it. In a Hub, every sub-company runs a complete Continu instance.

Their own admins

Sub-company admins keep full admin rights inside their instance, including roles, permissions, and user management.

Their own content and identity

Their own content library, branding, and integrations, plus unlimited white-labeled Extend portals for their partners and customers at no extra cost.

Their own targeting and reporting

Their own Smart Segmentation™ rules, automations, and custom Insights dashboards. Content shared from the parent hub gets assigned by their rules, not yours.

Built for it. Not configured into it.

Docebo and Cornerstone OnDemand both support multiple audiences through extended enterprise features. Those add sub-portals to a single LMS instance. Hubs connects a network of complete platforms, which is a different thing to build and a different thing to run.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Continu Hubs?

Continu Hubs lets a parent organization, like a holding company or franchisor, run a network of full Continu instances, one for each of its sub-companies. Every sub-company runs a complete Continu platform with full autonomy and Continu AI built in, while the parent hub keeps oversight and management rights across the whole network: setting standards, sharing content to any set of instances, and seeing activity everywhere.

Is every instance a full Continu instance?

Yes. Every sub-company instance is a complete Continu platform, with its own admins, learners, content, branding, integrations, and reporting. It is not a sub-portal or a restricted child account. The parent hub adds a connecting layer on top rather than taking anything away.

Who is Hubs built for?

Hubs fits any organization where more than one group needs to run learning its own way, including holding companies, franchise networks, enterprises with independent operating divisions and regions, and companies bringing an acquisition onto their platform.

Do sub-companies keep their own instance?

Yes. Every sub-company keeps its own instance, learners, segmentation, and reporting. The parent adds oversight and shared content on top without taking any of that away.

Who assigns training inside a sub-company?

Each sub-company's admins assign training with their own Smart Segmentation™ and automation rules. Parent admins can also step into any instance and create assignments the same way, so targeting and notifications always match each org.

Can a parent admin work inside a sub-company's instance?

Yes. One click opens the sub-company's full instance, including dashboards, reporting, content, and user admin. Every cross-company login is audit-logged.

Can sub-companies see each other's instances?

No. Each sub-company's instance is invisible to the others. Only the parent has cross-network visibility, and every cross-company login is audit-logged.

How is Hubs different from extended enterprise LMS features?

Extended enterprise features add branded sub-portals to one traditional LMS, so every audience shares a single underlying instance. Hubs connects fully separate, complete platforms under one parent hub. The difference shows up the first time a sub-company needs to do something the parent never planned for. See the full Continu vs. Docebo and Continu vs. Cornerstone OnDemand comparisons for the detail.

What does consolidating on Hubs replace?

Every separate learning platform you retire takes its contract, renewal negotiation, security review, and vendor management overhead with it. With Hubs you buy, secure, implement, and renew one system, and each company you add joins the existing network rather than starting a new procurement cycle.

How does Hubs setup work?

The Continu team provisions every hub and connects your sub-companies as part of a white-glove implementation. Continu implementations typically run 4 to 6 weeks from contract to launch.
